U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Berry has filled the role of Training Noncommissioned Officer where his efforts have greatly improved the company's training readiness and personnel preparedness. According to his leaders, Berry’s contributions have been instrumental in maintaining the unit's readiness and operational excellence. When asked why he wanted to be a Marine he said, “I was motivated to become physically fit, so I thought I would choose the best branch to do that with.” Each week, 2nd MLG recognizes one outstanding Marine or Sailor that goes above and beyond in their duties and embodies the qualities of an outstanding service member.
