Ellie Golden Life visits Soldiers of 2-17th Calvary Squadron "Out Front", 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), to boost morale and experience a day in the life of an AH-64E Apache helicopter pilot at Fort Campbell, Ky., on July 26, 2024.
Ellie and Emma, owned by Kevin and Katie Bubolz, are therapy dogs on a mission to spread smiles and make every day golden. While deployed as an Army Chinook pilot, Kevin experienced the positivity of animal-assisted interactions and now strives to create the same impact with Ellie and Emma.
During their visit, Ellie and Emma spread smiles through our aviation hangars and learned how to prepare for a flight in an Apache helicopter, thanks to the pilots and aircrew members of 2-17 Cavalry Squadron "Out Front", 101st CAB, 101st Airborne Division Air Assault.
