    U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Xavier Garcia, a bulk fuels specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12, 1st Marine Air Wing (MAW), refuels an F/A-18 Hornet aircraft at Suwon Air Base, South Korea, July 31, 2024. VMFA(AW)-224, known as the Fighting Bengals, are supporting MAG-12, 1st MAW, under the Unit Deployment Program, which aims to provide squadrons experience operating in the Indo-Pacific. The Fighting Bengals traveled to Suwon Air Base, South Korea, to enhance their standard of readiness and lethality with our South Korean allies and joint forces. Garcia is a native of Texas.
