U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Sarrah Luna, left, 6th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron avionics specialist, Capt. Sam Walker, 91st Air Refueling Squadron KC-135 pilot, and Senior Airman Blake Hoke, 92nd AMXS electrical and environmental specialist, review maintenance logs before flight at McClellan Airport in Sacramento, California, during Exercise Bamboo Eagle 24-3, Aug. 6, 2024. Maintenance crews from the 6th AMXS and 92 AMXS combined efforts to prepare, launch, and recover KC-135s during the exercise. Bamboo Eagle tests the Mobility Air Forces ability to deploy rapidly and establish operations upon reaching theatre to maneuver the Joint Force at time, scale, and mass. Bamboo Eagle 24-3 is an example of how the Air Force implements large-scale exercises and mission-focused training encompassing multiple operational plans to demonstrate and rehearse for complex, large-scale military operations.
