PENSACOLA, Fla. (August 06, 2024) - Students attending the Enlisted Recruiting Orientation (ENRO) course at the Navy Recruiting Orientation Unit (NORU) brief their class as a group. In this project, students were tasked with interviewing A-schoolers who recently attended the Recruit Training Course, better known as boot camp, on what their experience was like with Navy recruiting. This helps future recruiters learn what type of information is commonly omitted and how to improve the recruiting experience for future prospects.
NORU is the Navy’s sole recruiting schoolhouse responsible for the instruction of Enlisted and Officer personnel in professional sales, prospecting techniques, marketing, applicant processing, recruiting terminology, leadership, ethical behavior, and activity analysis. It also provides continuum training for the Navy’s Career Recruiting Force and prepares selected leaders for the challenges of operating a Navy Recruiting District (NRD).
