The 167th Airlift Wing held a Fire Truck Pull for area high school teams at Shepherd Field, Martinsburg, West Virginia, July 12, 2024. Nine teams competed in the event representing Millbrook High School, Strasburg High School, Jefferson High School, Hedgesville High School, Berkeley County AFJROTC, Sherando High School, Clear Spring High School, Brunswick High School and James Wood High School. The teams had to pull a 55,000-pound fire truck fifty feet. The Sherando team won with a time of 17:54. The 167th Airlift Wing staff team kicked off the event with a demonstration pull.
