Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, South Korea, August 12, 2024. M1 Abrams assigned to Bravo Company, 4th Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, completes two table 6 iterations, 2-3 Field Artillery and AH-64 helicopter from 4-2 Attack Battalion, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry-ROK/U.S. Supports the exercise with Artillery and close air support. Witnessing the events are Lt Gen. Christopher C. LaNeve Commanding General, Eighth Army, Republic of Korea, Brig. Gen. Sean Crockett, Eighth Army deputy commanding general, operations, and Brig. Gen. Lee, Seung-chan, Eighth Army DCG-ROK Army. This unit is participating in a deployment readiness exercise in support of Operation Pacific Fortitude, which supports long-standing agreements to the Republic of Korea by deploying forces, drawing and supporting equipment to validate unit readiness and the U.S. commitment to the alliance.
