U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Omar Jones, Installation Management Command Commanding General, right, presents a coin to Maleeha Shah, center, a Budget Analyst with the Garrison Wiesbaden's Directorate of Family and MWR’s Financial Management Division, in the IMCOM-Europe and Garrison Wiesbaden headquarters building on Clay Kaserne, Wiesbaden, Germany, Aug. 1, 2024. She was recognized for her work as an apprentice with the Garrison’s Plans, Analysis, and Integration Office assisting with the planning efforts of the Berlin Airlift 75th Anniversary commemoration event that took place earlier this year. Shah originally joined the Garrison team through the Host Nation Apprenticeship Program, a three-year program designed to recruit and train local talent for on-the-job training, professional education at a vocational school, and a two-year job guarantee after a successful final exam. The IMCOM Command team traveled to USAG Wiesbaden to thank members of the IMCOM workforce for their service and support, and to recognize their contributions to improve the readiness, resilience, and quality of life for Soldiers and their Families.
