U.S. Marines and Sailors with Combat Logistics Battalion 13, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, prepare for Mrs. Trueleen J. Albert, the head librarian’s, opening remarks during an appreciation ceremony at the Pohnpei Public Library as part of exercise Koa Moana 24 at Kolonia, Pohnpei, the Federated States of Micronesia, Aug. 8, 2024. The ceremony highlighted the Koa Moana Marines and Sailors’ efforts with the restoration of the library, and their investment into the local community by reading to the youth every week in the library and Koa Moana’s medical team providing basic life support and first aid training to the library staff.
