U.S. Marines assigned to Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/5, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to embark a U.S. Navy landing craft, air cushion (LCAC) attached to Assault Craft Unit 5 aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) off the coast of South Korea Aug. 8, 2024, for an amphibious offload of personnel and equipment to support integrated training with the Republic of Korea Marine Corps. Integrated training between the two countries strengthens the Republic of Korea-U.S. Alliance through bilateral, joint training, contributing toward combined capability in defense of the Korean Peninsula.
