A hearty well done to Maj. Hopkin, Maj. O’Neil, Cpt. Morrison, Cpt. Bernal, Sgt. 1st Class Smith, Staff Sgt. Garcia, Staff Sgt. Johnson, and Staff Sgt. Slavinsky for representing the Montana National Guard at the Marksmanship Advisory Council (MAC) Region 6 Match. These soldiers and airmen were some of the top competitors at the TAG Marksmanship Match and moved on to this regional competition in Guernsey, WY this August.
The MAC Region Matches are designed to provide a combat-focused marksmanship sustainment training event in each of the seven MAC Regions, and our Guardsmen represented well, with Airman Staff Sgt. Johnson taking home 1st place in overall rifle, special zero, and run-down events. Well done!
