U.S. Army Sgt. Edwin Gutierrez, a network communication systems specialist, assigned to 261st Signal Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Special Troops Battalion, runs a diagnostic test on a server at the 1st Armored Division's Headquarters main post during its command post exercise (CPX) II iteration held at Fort Bliss, Texas, Aug. 6, 2024.
The 1st Armored Division staff and its support elements conducted a deliberate week-long training progression to refine and identified future training objectives and confirm its proficiency level in command post operations in preparation for the division’s upcoming Warfighter exercise set for Fall 2024.
