Charleston, SC (July 9, 2024) Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic student interns Chloe Mattson (front) and Kayla Hughes test VOIP radio communication equipment and software. NIWC hosted 94 talented student interns this summer in support of continued learning in STEM and furthering innovation in the information warfare battlespace. Interns got hands-on experience in multiple areas installation and integration of software, cyber operations development for mobile devices, server configuration, vulnerability testing and more. The NIWC Atlantic Student Intern program is designed to provide an internship for students currently enrolled in school at a collegiate level.
