The Halsey departed San Diego on Jan. 10, as part of Carrier Strike Group Nine with the USS Theodore Roosevelt, serving as a carrier escort before detaching to conduct operations across multiple warfare areas, providing regional stability and supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific.
