The Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC) hosted an award ceremony for Mrs. Jennifer Goulart, and Cmdr. William Eickmeyer, Aug. 20, 2024, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. During the ceremony, Goulart was awarded the Civil Service Commendation Medal for her efforts and attributions as the public affairs officer for NMCFHPC. Eickmeyer was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Gold Star, for his outstanding meritorious service while serving as the regional environmental health manager in the public health and safety department, Naval Medical Forces Atlantic (NMFL). Goulart recently accepted a position as public affairs officer for NMFL, and Eickmeyer, who recently transferred from NMFL, will serve as the environmental health officer with NMCFHPC.
