Staff Sgt. Kyle Stroub, squad leader assigned to 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, and a native of Rome, Georgia scouts for a dry place to cross a river on Mount Allen during Commando Summit, in the Adirondack Mountain Range, Aug. 20, 2024. Commando Summit brought teams from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, to conquer all 46 high peaks of the Adirondacks in a single day, a feat that had never been previously attempted by any organization.
