VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – U.S. Navy explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 8 compete in a mine pull and flip competition at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story, during the Navy EOD King Crab Competition, Aug. 16, 2024. King Crab is a four-day combat-focused military skills competition that challenges the physical and mental endurance of Navy EOD technicians, highlighting the scope of unique skillsets and capabilities.
