Air Force 1st Class Sauntino Adams, Emergency Medical Technician, Keesler Medical Center Biloxi, Miss., escorts a patient to the staging area for causalities waiting on transport to the hospital during the 2024 Air Force Medic Rodeo held at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, Aug. 12-15. During the interaction, he used triage skills and lifesaving interventions to rapidly assess and treat the patient, provided bleeding control measures and airway interventions to help stabilize the patient, and started an IV to administer fluids.
