GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba (Aug. 22, 2024) – Dentists and dental technicians gathered at U.S. Naval Hospital Guantanamo Bay to celebrate the 112th birthday of the Navy Dental Corps. Since 1912, the Navy Dental Corps has been a cornerstone in preserving the oral health and readiness of our nation’s service members. What started with just two dentists, Drs. Emory Bryant and William Cogan, has grown to a dedicated force of more than 1,200 active duty and reserve dental professionals.
