The U.S. Navy Blue Angels "Fat Albert" C-130 Hercules lands at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas on Aug. 24. The air show also featured static displays to include the KC-46 Pegasus, KC-135 Stratotanker, B-52 Stratofortress, B-1 Lancer and local celebrity WWII-era B-29 Superfortress “Doc.” Wichita, the location of McConnell, is known as the Air Capitol of the World and embraces its rich aviation history, offering support to Team McConnell’s Airmen and their families.
