Matt Piazza, hydraulic engineer, Dam Safety Production Center, Southwestern Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, briefs Col. Georg Walter, Southwestern Division Commander, USACE about the Keystone Dam Safety Modification Study on which Piazza is the lead engineer. The Dam Safety Production Center is geographically located in Tulsa District, but is an SWD asset. Walter assumed command of SWD at the beginning of August and was in town to meet employees and get an in-person glimpse of Tulsa District’s operations. Southwestern Division encompasses four USACE districts: Tulsa, Galveston, Fort Worth and Little Rock.
