Webbers Falls L&D 16 is one of five lock and dams the Tulsa District operates and maintains on the MKARNS. The MKARNS is jointly operated by the Tulsa District and Little Rock District, USACE and connects the Arkansas River to the Mississippi River, allowing river-based transportation from Oklahoma to the Mississippi River. Walter was visiting the Tulsa District to meet with employees and observe district operations, Aug. 21-23.
