Vicenza Mayor Giacomo Possamai gives a thank you speech to members of the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), 414th Contracting Support Brigade, Alpini of Vicenza, Order of Malta, Troop 295 Boy Scouts, families and local Italians after working together to clean Monte Berico Basilica, Vicenza, Italy, on Aug. 31, 2024. The annual event is part of an ongoing partnership to prepare Monte Berico before the upcoming festivities of the patron saint “Virgin Mary of Monte Berico” and the arrival of thousands of pilgrims from all over the region.
