ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Aug. 30, 2024) Secretary of the Navy The Honorable Carlos Del Toro, U.S. Naval Academy Superintendent Vice Adm. Yvette Davids, Commandant of Midshipmen Capt. Walter Allman, Mr. Stephen Comiskey, class president of 1969, and Mr. Isaac Phillips, class president of 2019, review the U.S. Naval Academy’s first formal parade of the season. Parades are a visual presentation of the military discipline, professionalism and teamwork necessary to succeed as a member of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and have been a part of Naval Academy training since its establishment in 1845.
