If you are active duty, you have undoubtedly heard of an Executive Officer's Inquiry (XOI) or a Captain's Mast. (Hopefully, you've never been the focus of one!)
These disciplinary events are a part of Navy life, and most Sailors will encounter them in one way or another in the course of their careers. On Thursday, May 30, the Navy Supply Corps School performed a mock XOI and Captain's Mast to show new Supply Corps officers what to expect during these formal proceedings. This exposure will enable the officers to feel more comfortable in an admittedly uncomfortable situation.
Navy Supply Corps School XO CDR Jennifer Charlton (left) observes the proceedings as NSCS Commanding Officer CAPT Jason C. Warner (right) delivers his verdict to the sailor standing review.
