Eng. Josué A. Colón Ortiz, Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA), and Brig. Gen. Daniel Hibner, Commander of the South Atlantic Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) signed a memorandum of understanding.
This agreement will enhance the development and management of infrastructure projects, including dams, reservoirs, irrigation channels, and hydroelectric generation. The projects from the agreements will be funded by federal allocations from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
