U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Matias Maturanareyes, a water support technician with Combat Logistics Battalion 13, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, stages World War II artifacts during the artifact handling phase of the Civic Center restoration project on Peleliu, Republic of Palau, Sept. 5, 2024, an effort to aligned with the Battle of Peleliu 80th anniversary commemoration ceremony on Sept. 15, 2024.
