U.S. Marines with 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, participating in Unitas 2024, sit on their Light Armored Vehicle, at Expeditionary Advanced Base North in Puerto Aldea, Chile, on Sept. 8, 2024. UNITAS, which is Latin for “unity”, was conceived in 1959 and has taken place annually since first conducted in 1960.
