An F/A-18D Hornet takes off from Wing One Royal Thai Air Base, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 8 during preparations for exercise Cobra Gold 2013. CG 13, in its 32nd iteration, is a multinational exercise that promotes regional prosperity, security and cooperation among partner militaries. Thailand and the U.S. are committed to working together in areas of common interest for the betterment of regional security. The F/A-18D is assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 224, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
