U.S. Marines from Combat Logistics Regiment 3 move equipment for their combat operations center Feb. 9 at Camp Samaesan in Sattahip, Kingdom of Thailand, which will facilitate communications between logistics units throughout the country during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. “Working with the Thai Marines is quite an experience,” said U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Andrew W. Berkowicz, a generator mechanic with CLR-3. “There is a language barrier, but we share a special bond because we are both in the Marine Corps.” Cobra Gold, in its 32nd iteration, is a multinational exercise that promotes regional prosperity, security and cooperation among partner militaries. CLR- 3 is a part of 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
