Fort Meade Garrison Commander Col. Yolanda Gore renders honors to the flag before the start of the run.
On Sept. 11, 2024, Fort Meade units conducted a garrison-wide three-mile run to honor and remember those that lost their lives during the September 11 terror attacks.
After the run, Fort Meade Directorate of Emergency Services held a ceremony to honor the firefighters, police officers and paramedics who gave their lives trying to save others.
