The Huntington District Dive Team spent several days in Winfield training new members and checking equipment.
One of the training highlights was the team’s dive tank, a controlled environment used to familiarize new team member with working on various equipment while submerged as well as checking dive gear for issues.
Team members travel throughout the district performing inspections and maintenance on a variety of structures and equipment at both lake projects and lock and dam systems. Some of the more common missions for the team are inspections of spillways and lock gates as well as setting and pulling bulkheads for R3F.
