Tempest Wind 24 | NSW, FBI, NAVSOCOM conduct joint maritime interdiction operation training

U.S. Naval Special Warfare and Philippine Naval Special Operations Command operators and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents rehearse a joint maritime interdiction operation scenario during exercise Tempest Wind 24 in Bacuit Bay, Philippines, Aug. 27, 2024. TW 24 is the 15th iteration of the Tempest Wind series of exercises and the third time in the Philippines. U.S. Indo-Pacific Command conducts these mission rehearsals as part of its military-to-military engagement program with other nations in the region, enabling U.S. forces to enhance their skills in geographically and culturally diverse environments while promoting a free and open Indo-Pacific that fosters peace, stability, and prosperity for all. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
