A U.S. Air Force firefighter rookie assigned to the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department inflates a decontamination shelter as part of “Rookie Academy” at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, Aug. 27, 2024. The Rookie Academy is an intense training program put together by Staff Sgt. Connor Nance, 100th CES Fire Department assistant chief of training, condensing four months of training for new firefighters into three weeks.
