CHEVIÈRES, France – U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 94th Fighter Squadron prepare to unload the casket of Capt. Hamilton Coolidge during a reinterment ceremony at the Eglise Saint Martin in Chevières, France, Sept. 15, 2024. Coolidge, a pilot with the 94th Aero Squadron during World War I, was killed in action on Oct. 27, 1918. Due to erosion caused by a nearby river on the original burial site, Coolidge’s remains were relocated to the town cemetery. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Albert Morel)
