U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Conner Paul, an explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, disassemble empty ammunition cannisters for storage and disposal during a joint training exercise at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, Sept. 10, 2024. The immersive training allowed the U.S. Marines from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Explosive Ordnance Disposal and U.S. Airmen with 123rd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight, Kentucky Air National Guard, to share techniques and experience by employing live demolitions against realistic scenarios for ordnance response.
