Students of Matthew C. Perry High School and local Japanese high school students present their park design during the Student Educational Exchange and Dialogue (SEED) Project 2024-2025 at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Sept. 8, 2024. SEED is a youth cultural exchange program organized by Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity which allows Japanese and American students to participate in two days of hands-on activities designed to foster diverse perspectives, promote mutual understanding, bridge language barriers, and build problem-solving skills.
