Nepali Army members familiarize themselves with an aeromedical evacuation kit from U.S. Air Force members assigned to Pacific Air Forces during Pacific Angel 24-2 in Kathmandu, Nepal, Sept. 16, 2024. PA 24-2 is a humanitarian response exercise focused on building and strengthening partnership capacity in potential disaster relief support. They accomplish this through subject matter expert exchanges on aircraft maintenance and aircrew operations, adverse terrain personnel recovery operations, swift water and flood personnel recovery operations, patient movement in search and rescue operations, and medical response to hazardous materials.
