Leaders and construction managers with Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and II Marine Expeditionary Force speak about the future II MEF Headquarters building construction project during a tour on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 16, 2024. Construction of the II MEF Headquarters building is the result of a comprehensive infrastructure reset evaluation that took place in 2017. The new headquarters will encompass nearly 181,000 square feet and provide administrative, training, and support functions to the II MEF and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025.
