Land (AS 39), demonstrates a mechanical advantage control hold takedown on training assistant Information Systems Technician Seaman Apprentice Logan Leming, from Kingsland, Texas, while under the effects of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) as part of an OC qualification course on the ship’s flight deck, Aug. 16. Emory S. Land is on deployment supporting the U.S. 7th Fleet, the U.S. Navy’s largest forward deployed numbered fleet, operating with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
