An F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 8th Fighter Wing takes off from the flight line for a training mission at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 23, 2024. Several Kunsan F-16s conducted routine maritime close air support and personnel recovery training in the West Sea as part of their annual training and flying hours program. Training in a wide range of mission sets and environments ensures aircrew remain ready to integrate with joint partners and provide combat airpower wherever needed and is a critical part of Seventh Air Force’s “Fight Tonight” mission.
