U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine researchers presented posters side-by-side during the poster session at the Military Health System Research Symposium in Kissimmee, Florida in August. Samantha Goldenstein, Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education Research Fellow with the Military Performance Division, presented her poster on “Resting Metabolism and Energy Intake Across the Menstrual Cycle in Physically Active Females.” Lt. Col. Bridget Owens, Research Dietitian with the Military Nutrition Division, presented her poster on “Sex Differences in Body Image, Eating Behaviors, and Diet Quality in U.S. Army Soldiers.”
