U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jeffrey Hopper, a crew chief with the 169th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, S.C., supervises maintenance operations on the flight line during a Phase II Operational Readiness Exercise, Feb. 10, 2013. The flight line is operating under simulated chemical attack conditions and personnel are working in full Mission Oriented Protective Posture gear as part of the exercise scenario. The 169th Fighter Wing is training for an upcoming Operational Readiness Inspection later this year, which evaluates a unit’s ability to operate and launch missions in a chemical combat environment.
