Vice Adm. John Wade, commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet (C3F) addresses the newest chief petty officers from C3F, Mine Countermeasures Group 3 and Tactical Training Group Pacific during a pinning ceremony held at C3F headquarters, Naval Base Point Loma, Sept. 27, 2024. An integral part of U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S. 3rd Fleet operates naval forces in the Indo-Pacific and provides the realistic, relevant training necessary to execute the U.S. Navy’s role across the full spectrum of military operations - from combat operations to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
