Vandenberg volunteers came together for National Public Lands Day to help create a new greenbelt and walking trail by planting trees, building trails, removing invasive plants, and painting walkways at the Marshallia Ranch Clubhouse in Lompoc, Calif., Sept. 27, 2024. National Public Lands Day is the country’s largest volunteer event for public land which brings together individuals, families, and community groups nationwide to help restore, improve, and enjoy our outdoor spaces.
