Cobra Gold is a recurring, multinational and multiservice exercise hosted annually by Thailand and developed by the Thai and U.S. militaries. CG 13 also includes humanitarian and civic assistance projects and a staff exercise. Adium is the commanding officer of 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry, Royal Thai Marines and O’Connor is the commanding officer of 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
