240927-N-N1526-1001 TOLEDO, Oh. (Sept. 27, 2024) Rear Adm. Kevin Brown, a native of Genoa, Ohio, commander, Naval Medical Forces Atlantic and director, Defense Health Network (DHN) - Atlantic, visited his alma mater, the University of Toledo (UT), on Sept. 27, 2024. As a former recipient of the United States Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Brown was thrilled to return and engage with students about medical career opportunities in the U.S. Navy. During his visit, he interacted with numerous students, sharing his Navy journey, and answering their questions. “I wanted to inform future health professionals at UT about the programs available in Navy Medicine. I discovered these opportunities by chance during my time at UT and aim to increase awareness of the many paths available to healthcare professionals,” said Brown.
