Airman 1st Class Jeffery Simcoe, 375th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, rescued an unconscious maintainer inside the belly of the aircraft during his deployment. They were told that the victim was incapacitated outside the aircraft, but when the rescue crew arrived at the scene, they found the victim not outside, but inside the fuel cell of the plane.
