The Pacific Simulation for Integrated Air and Missile Defense Modernization 2024 (PACSIM 24) was a 94th AAMDC-led tabletop exercise held from Sept. 24-27th, 2024, with participants from USINDOPACOM, PACAF, USARPAC, and Air and Missile Defense (AMD) experts and stakeholders. This exercise used a constructive simulation, informed by 94th-provided data, to support exercise goals.
PACSIM 24 tested current operational IAMD capabilities against 2027 INDOPACOM threats. In a collaborative environment, the same scenarios were workshopped and simulated again with scheduled modernized IAMD capabilities to identify new conceptual IAMD frameworks. The event provided the IAMD community with quantifiable data to identify potential operational gains with future capabilities, explore new ways to effectively employ those capabilities, and offered limited operational analysis for future planning.
