FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. — On September 2, 2024, the Historic Hacienda at Fort Hunter Liggett served as the backdrop for a significant transition of leadership during the Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) Change of Command Ceremony.

Maj. Eric Flanagan assumed command, taking a moment to express his deep gratitude for the opportunity to lead. “I am honored to serve in this role and to contribute to the Fort Hunter Liggett community and the U.S. Army Reserve,” he stated, emphasizing his commitment to the mission and the soldiers under his command.

The ceremony, attended by a robust contingent of community members, highlighted the strong bonds and shared dedication that define Fort Hunter Liggett. As the new commander, Maj. Flanagan looks forward to fostering a culture of excellence and support within the unit.

This change of command not only marks a new chapter for HHC but also reaffirms the Army's commitment to leadership continuity and community engagement.
